dudeman script "city"

this is the script for the dudeman epidose entitled: "city"

on May 5, 2010 (cinco de mayo) and remained up for a coupla daze ;o)

it's kinda working through the ideas
of starting the adventure over anew
n to be more like a traditional strip

the visual for
the comic is...
black background with blank white panels
with black border and white halo like glow

the overall impression is like that of a city map
but also buildings n streets n windows etc
just the rectangular shapes overlapping

one vertical panel on the right side
from the top to just below center
and one horizontal panel on the lower right
from the center to all the way over to the right
both panels are kinda like falling off the page
to where we only see one corner n 2 sides


and now for the script
starting in the upper left of the epidose:

Dudeman - main character
Cuz-Bro - comic relief sidekick

this first, and their section of the comic
is a purple comic strip shaped rectangle
but vertical, n tilted clockwise slightly...
(like from one o'clock to seven o'clock)

Cuz-Bro's text is highlighted by green boxes
that also have beveled edges like window frames
which overlap the purple angled panel in the background

Dudeman has a phone in his hand
his expression is curious n quizzical

Cuz-Bro is cheerful anticipatory smile
like he's holding in a secret funny etc...

the art and conversation lead reader to believe
they're monitoring the previous conversation
through like the cell phone or something...

their colors are both springy yellowish green
(the running gag is they're interchangeable)

Zoltar is the over-the-top
arch-nemesis wacky supervillain
he presents as a classic gray alien
(his text color designation is black)
...but neither character is pictured

are a couple silly comments from
2 of the gods, (where there's usually 6)
n they're not pictured, but when they are
they're classic gray style aliens, like Zoltar
only these guys are gold

a couple of as yet not entirely defined existential entities
they're brothers and co-founders...
of the law firm "Wisdom n Reason"
kinda like retired elder statesmen
